      DreamLeague Season 13: The Leipzig Major – For the first time, the upcoming edition of DreamHack Leipzig will be the venue for a major tournament. In its 13th season, the prestigious DreamLeague tournament series will land at the gaming festival and host the first Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Major in 2020: DreamLeague Season 13 - The Leipzig Major. Visitors can really look forward to the international Dota 2 elite. 16 teams from Europe, America and Asia will play against each other for a total of $1,000,000 in prize money.

      DreamHack Leipzig 2020 and First Esports-Highlights – Tomorrow at 2 pm tickets for DreamHack Leipzig will go on sale - both for Germany's Largest LAN party and for the regular event. The gaming festival has three spectacular Esports highlights to offer: the DreamHack Open with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Clash of Nations: Rainbow Six Siege and Farming Simulator League. Additionally, fans should look forward to the return of the German Casemod Championship (DCMM), innovations in hardware and software at DreamExpo and popular events such as the big Cosplay Contest.

      Through the roof: DreamHack Leipzig cracks the 20,000 visitor mark and reaches millions more via livestreams – Thrilling eSports tournaments, imaginative cosplay costumes and a euphoric atmosphere at the gaming festival with Germany's biggest LAN party made DreamHack Leipzig a complete success from 15 to 17 February 2019. More than 20,600 visitors from Germany and abroad flocked to the Leipzig Trade Fair to enjoy a variety of thrilling tournaments, memorable events and close-up live tests of the latest technologies. Last year, 18,500 guests visited DreamHack. "For the fourth year in a row, the partners Leipziger Messe, Schenker Technologies and DreamHack AB have succeeded in making the pulse of the huge eSports community race faster. DreamHack Leipzig has expanded its local fan base, reached an audience of millions via livestreams and underscored its status as the industry's leading gaming festival. Our motivation to further develop the event in the coming year is huge," explains Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe.

      Gaming Marathon at DreamHack Leipzig 2019 – From 15 to 17 February 2019, the Leipzig Trade Fair will once again be transformed into a hotspot for gamers from near and far. DreamHack Leipzig is going into its fourth round and playing to its strengths. Exciting eSports tournaments and Germany's largest LAN party come together with a packed event program and an expo showcasing the latest hardware, software, accessories and merchandise. This year, for the first time, DreamHack Leipzig is open to visitors 12 and up. Events and content with a higher age rating can be found in a special area for those 16 and over.

      Win the Winter: major Hearthstone tournament at DreamHack Leipzig – This coming January, DreamHack Leipzig will for the first time organise its own major e-sports tournament with “Win the Winter”. The game will be Blizzard’s classic, Hearthstone. Because “Win the Winter” is purely an open tournament, no players will be directly invited. Even professional players will first have to prove themselves in the qualifying rounds, giving every participant a real and identical chance to win the tournament.

      E-sports showdown at DreamHack Leipzig – This coming January, DreamHack Leipzig will once again become a Mecca for gaming fans from Germany and abroad. In recent years, the festival has established itself as the venue for high-quality e-sports tournaments, and will once more be setting a milestone in 2018. Both the StarCraft II World Championship Series and the prestigious DreamHack Open Series will get the new year under way at DreamHack Leipzig. Alongside elite international teams and players who have been directly invited, all other players also have an opportunity to qualify for the tournaments ahead of DreamHack Leipzig 2018. There is prize money totalling 150,000 US dollars at stake.
