    DreamHack Leipzig: LAN ticket sale starts next week

    From January 22 to 24, 2016 the DreamHack Leipzig celebrates its premiere at the Leipzig trade fair facilities – and thereby with roughly 1,000 places also Germany's largest LAN-Party. On September 15 at 3:00 p.m. the excitedly awaited ticket sale starts for the LAN area. Three different categories are available for selection.

    In a few months the DreamHack Leipzig will take place in Leipzig for the first time. Since the German platform of the world's largest Computer-Festival was announced at the beginning of June, above all LAN gamers have been impatiently waiting for the start of the advance ticket sale. Because the LAN area of the event comprises of roughly 1,000 places and will therefore become the setting for the currently largest LAN-Party in Germany. There for 56 hours the gamers will have the opportunity to play with and compete against each other.

    On September 15, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. the moment will finally have arrived: The Ticket shop for the LAN tickets goes online and can be reached under the following link:

    The access to the LAN-area is possible as of 18 years of age, and three different ticket categories are available for selection: Apart from the own LAN place, the "LAN Seat" ticket for 79 € provides access to all areas of the DreamHack Leipzig and entitles for use of the Relax-Zone. In addition the "LAN-Seat+" ticket for 99 € contains WiFi-access and a parking place.

    Gamer luxury is promised by the "LAN Seat XMG" ticket, because here nearly everything is taken care of for the participants. The ticket includes all the advantages of the other categories and in addition Schenker Technologies/XMG will provide a monitor, computer, and all necessary peripherals and a comfortable gaming chair. The price of the ticket is 149 €.

    The LAN-area is, however, only one of the many highlights of the DreamHack Leipzig. On nearly all days of the festival, top class eSports tournaments will take place for the different games. Visitors can also look forward to the exhibition area DreamExpo. There companies will be presenting their innovations from the areas hardware, software, games and accessories. In the DreamStore the products can be purchased at reduced prices. The DreamHack Leipzig will be rounded off by a comprehensive event program, which amongst others comprises of Cosplayer, appearances of stars from the eSports-scene and old school analogue games.

    About the DreamHack Leipzig

    The DreamHack Leipzig is the official German platform of the Swedish DreamHack, the worldwide largest eSports Festival. It celebrates its premiere from January 22 to 24, 2016 and will then take place every year. The organiser is the company Leipziger Messe GmbH with the company Schenker Technologies GmbH as partner and DreamHack AB as license giver. The main components of the DreamHack Leipzig are a LAN-area with more than 1,000 seats, numerous eSports tournaments with in total six figure prize money and the exhibition DreamExpo with the associated DreamStore. There innovations from the areas hardware, software, games and accessories will be offered. The festival character will be rounded of by a comprehensive event program on all three days of the event.     About the DreamHack

    The DreamHack is the worldwide largest Computer-Festival. Core and origin of DreamHack is the LAN-Party - the two largest festivals are the DreamHack Summer in June and the DreamHack Winter in November. The events offer a platform for eSport, knowledge and creative competitions, music acts, lectures from games developers, Internet and game culture, Cosplay, the exhibition DreamExpo and much more.
